Want to see clearer while in a lowly-lit area of Ready or Not’s warzone? Using a flashlight would be an obvious choice. A flashlight is one of the many items that will be available at your disposal in Ready or Not. Being a game based on realism, it isn’t going to be easy hunting down your targets without essentials. Not only does Ready or Not feature an array of weapons for you to pick up, but it also features utilities like pepper spray, stun grenades, and more. A flashlight is a pretty useful utility and you will require it from time to time. It comes as an attachment that can be added to your guns in the game. So, without further ado, let’s look at how we can turn on a flashlight in Ready or Not.
Ready or Not, a tactical FPS by VOID Interactive, intends to remain in early access at least until the end of 2022. A lot of video games have now embraced the idea of a “long early access”. And why wouldn’t they? Many much-anticipated AAA titles like Battlefield 2042 crumble down to pieces due to a lack of good execution and planning. Long early access helps developers keep everything in control while improving the game slowly. It is also a clever tactic since we wouldn’t expect much of a game in early access. Anyway, VOID Interactive has to date released two major content updates and a few hotfixes to counter bugs and player feedback. They are doing well in terms of execution, as of now.
How to use a flashlight in Ready or Not?
As mentioned before, a flashlight is a very useful utility in the tactical FPS. However, many players are confused regarding its equipping and usage process. Don’t worry if you are in the same boat; we will help you figure out how to equip and switch on a flashlight in Ready or Not.
The flashlight is available as a gun attachment. So, head over to the table where the attachments are available, also known as the work table. There, you can pick up a flashlight from the “Under-barrel Attachments” list and equip it with your gun. Now, by default, the flashlight’s operation is linked to the TMB 2 key on your mouse. TMB stands for the thumb mouse button, and the “2” points to the second side key of a mouse. To sum up, click the side mouse button or thumb mouse button to switch on the flashlight in Ready or Not. Note that you will need to equip the flashlight to your gun first. If your mouse features only two buttons or you wish to change the default key, head over to the settings and change the keybindings for the flashlight.
