Let’s look at some fixes and workarounds that will fix the audio problem in the game. After applying these fixes, you should be able to enjoy your game again.

1) Setting the Sound Sample Rate to 48/44 kHz: You can change the Sound Sample Rate to 48/44 kHz by going to the Manage Audio Devices settings from your control panel on the Hardware and Sound section. After going to the Properties section of your speakers, select either the 48,000 Hz or the 44,000 Hz option in the Advanced settings. Also, make sure that you change these settings only for your default speaker.

2) Turn off Spatial Sound: Turn off the spatial sound settings from your control panel. Just go to the Settings and find the Sound section. Here, click on the Speakers option which will open the Properties where you will find the Spatial Sound settings. Turn them off and you’ll be good to go.

3) Choose the correct audio device: Select the suitable audio device for your system by going to the Sound settings in your Control Panel. In a general case, make sure that the default device is the speaker of your PC. Also, disconnect any mic connected to your PC. Sometimes, mics also tend to cause an audio problem.

4) Controller connection: Try connecting your controller only after the game is started and when the audio is working properly.

5) Restart the game: You can also try to run the game after restarting it. This may bring back the sound/audio of the game.

6) Verify the game files: Go to the Steam library>Right-click on Spiderman Remastered> Select Properties>Local Files> Verify the game files from there. Verifying game files will repair any corrupt files and install fresh files as replacements.

7) Uncheck handsfree telephony: Got to the Control Panel. Open the Devices and Printers section. Right-click on the speaker and uncheck the box that says hands-free telephony. Now launch the game.

8) Disconnect the external mic from your PC: Disable the mic from your system by going to the Hardware and Sound section on your PC. Go to the microphone and right-click on the device. Click on the disable button and run the game again.

9) Disable Oculus/voice meter Audio Device: Go to the Control Panel and disable all the devices which are not in use like the Oculus device and the voice meter.

10) Restart your PC: It is recommended that after applying the fixes given above, restart your PC before opening the game again.

These fixes will solve your audio problem but if the problem persists, seek official technical support. Also, don’t forget to check out Androidgram for more fixes and updates on Spiderman Remastered and more.
