Analytics are an important part of understanding audience response. It can easily be a deciding factor for where your business is heading. The changes that are brought about in a marketing campaign or content type are all due to the analytics provided by any social media website. Twitter does the same for its users. Twitter analytics show users what is being liked more by their audience. This helps them put out more similar content and expand their reach on the platform. Hence, having access to Twitter analytics at all times is important. However, Twitter analytics has been not working since the start of September this year. This is an issue that has bothered users in the past. And recurring issues are the most frustrating because users expect the service to get rid of them.

But since Twitter hasn’t been able to figure out a fix for the problem, users will have to take matters into their own hands. Here are some troubleshooting methods you can try to fix the problem with Twitter analytics.

Enable Analytics:

It may be possible that the analytics for your Twitter account has been disabled. There are many reasons that can lead to this. But the easiest way to fix it is to turn it on. Visit the Twitter analytics website and turn on analytics for your account.

Does your account meet the requirements:

To access the Twitter analytics features, your account needs to meet a few requirements. If your account fails to do so, you will not be permitted to view the analytics for it. Here is the list of requirements –
Account  Tweets should be in one of the following languages – Arabic, Brazilian Portuguese, Danish, Dutch, English, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish.
The account should be at least 14 days old.
Your account should not violate any of Twitter’s policies.
Your account should not be deleted, restricted, or suspended.

If your account does not follow one of these requirements, you will not be permitted to use Twitter analytics.

Wait for an official fix:

As frustrating as this is, there isn’t much a user can do about the problem. Twitter tries its best to evolve the platform with various changes. However, some of these changes may take time to settle in. Meanwhile, you can try using a third-party service to monitor your Twitter analytics like Follower Audit.
