How to recover Health in Pikmin 4

It’s been well over a day now since Pikmin 4 landed on the Nintendo Store. This game features a unique playstyle and has a kid-friendly element. This means you can play it in front of your little ones without worrying about any kind of side effects that may happen with brutal games like Bloodborne or God of War. Facts aside, our team is trying their best to cover all the essential elements in great detail so you don’t have to. In today’s guide, we will try to cover what kind of health pooling system Pikmin 4 has and how to recover HP if you lose some in the game.

Health is a basic element that represents how much life your current character has. If the health pool is full, then you are in the best condition. Meanwhile, if your health is completely dried up, then you are most likely knocked out or dead, in simple terms. No one likes dying, right? So take these small tips and use them to maintain your character’s health in Pikmin 4.

Pikmin 4: How to recover Health (HP)

How to recover Health in Pikmin 4

Health, or HP, is both a basic and important element in any game, including Pikmin 4. It ain’t unlimited, and the more damage you take, the farther it’ll decrease. And as you know, if your HP goes down to zero, you will die, and the game over screen will appear. But the fun part is that if Oatchi is still alive while you are grounded, then you can control Oatchi until your main character is fully recovered. It’s fun controlling your trusty companion, but your main character is needed if you want to complete the various missions in the game.

The Emergency Kit

Just like in real life, an Emergency Kit can be used to heal yourself. But the fun part is that it not only heals your HP to 100%, but it can also revive your knocked-out body. That makes it a valuable resource, and it’s a given that you won’t have a lot of these kits, to begin with. Because if your HP reaches zero, it’ll automatically activate and revive you on the spot. Getting this resource is also quite easy. All you need are five raw materials to purchase the Emergency Kit (after it is unlocked) from Russ at the Lab.

Teleport to Base

This is the second common way of recovering HP. If you are out of Emergency kits, a small UFO will appear after you are knocked out, carrying your body to the base. There, you will slowly regain your HP, while Oatchi will be left stranded in the middle of nowhere. Fortunately, you can control Oatchi until you are all healed up. Something similar happens when Oatchi is knocked out; he will also be sent to base for recovery.

Healing Oatchi

Unlike the main character, healing Oatchi is easy. You just need to feed him Scrummy bones or Nectar that you will find on your expedition. Also, Oatchi has a passive healing skill that he can learn by leveling up. The more you upgrade the Heal skill, the more passive healing Oatchi will have. It also speeds up his recovery speed after being knocked out. Your good boy is both strong and tough, so try to take good care of him.

This was our short yet detailed guide on how to recover health in Pikmin 4. Just don’t forget to take good care of both you and your trusty companion; a good thought goes a long way. If you find this guide informative, follow Android Gram for more.
