Do you love star signs? Then you must have known about those mysterious gems that can improve some random things about your body or life when wearing them. Well, those gems are featured in Palia as well. In the game, these starstones hold immense value, as you can gift them to the in-game NPCs. Doing so will allow you to unlock special dialogues with the NPC. Apart from this, you can also sell them for some quick cash. That being said, if you are wondering how to get, find, and use the Aquamarine Starstone in Palia, here’s everything you need to know about the same.
Most starstones in Palia are quite difficult to find, even if they are of the uncommon category. So do not expect them to spawn frequently in the Palian world. Each starstone aligns with a star sign and can be gifted to the right NPC that has the same sign. However, there are some exceptions. NPCs Einar, Hekla, and Tau cannot be gifted with a starstone since they are interested in them. The Aquamarine Starstone aligns with the Scholar sign.
Palia Aquamarine Starstone: How to get, find, & use
The 0.172 Open Beta Update for Palia added these starstones to the in-game world. The update was released on November 7, 2023, with many additional content and bug fixes. Anyway, coming back to the topic, here’s how you can get Aquamarine in the game.
Mining Iron Nodes
As of now, mining is the only way to acquire the various starstones in-game, including Aquamarine. This is a gem, and when mining specific ores around specific areas, there is a slight chance that you can come across one. However, to mine, make sure you have at least a Fine Pick. Here are the requirements to craft one:
- Mining level 6
- Heartwood Plank x10
- Iron Bar x5
- Standard Pick x1
- Gold x1500
After you reach the required mining level, head over to Hodari’s Mining Guild Store and buy the recipe for the Fine Pick for 1500 Gold. After this, get back to your worktable and start the crafting process.
After upgrading your pick, head to locations with water sources nearby. There are a ton of locations like these in both Bahari Bay and Kilima Valley. So just get to any nearby one, for example, Thorny Thicket. Then look for iron nodes. Now comes the worst part: there are no clear indications about the drop rate, but as far as we know, it seems pretty random. Yeah, some players may get it on the first try, and others may need to mine iron nodes for hours to get one. Anyway, once you locate an iron node near any water source, hit it with a pick and then see if it drops an aquamarine or not.
Where should you use it?
The use case also depends on what your end goal is. For now, there are only two ways of using it:
- Gift it to Caleri or Elouisa
- Sell it for 800 gold
