Roblox is a classic fan favorite with millions of users. It allows users to make games and play games other people have made. One such game is Blox Fruits, a One Piece-inspired game that allocates a race randomly to players upon joining the first time. In total, there are four races players can spawn as, with human being the most common at a 62.5% chance. The other three races each have a 12.5% chance of being allotted, with the choices being shark, angel, and rabbit. Each race is distinct, with its own advantages and disadvantages. There are also the cyborg and ghoul races in Blox Fruits, which are considered unique. Well, in this guide, we have shared details on what the ghoul race does in-game.
Blox Fruits offers two races that the player cannot spawn in by default, namely the cyborg and the ghoul. These races can be quite enticing to many, as they offer some unique advantages. In this article, we will cover what the ghoul race in Blox Fruits does, so be sure to keep reading until the end!
What does Ghoul Race do in Blox Fruits? (Update 20)
Added in update 12, the player needs to be at least level 1000, and find the Experimic NPC to change their race to Ghoul. The Experimic will offer to change the player’s race to ghoul for 100 Ectoplasm and a Hellfire Torch. The race is an extremely powerful combination with the Buddha fruit, as is apparent due to the advantages listed below.
Advantages –
The most basic version of the ghoul race, V1, grants increased regen and 30% extra run speed during the night, which is still slower than the rabbit race. The next version, V2, is where things start to get interesting. It enables life leech, which means every time the user hits a player using a fighting style, they are healed by a quarter of the amount of damage dealt. The number is 5% for damage dealt to NPCs, though. V3 unlocks heightened senses, which allows the user to use skills that are still on 40% cooldown. It also buffs the user’s damage by 10%, speed by 10%, and defense by 15%. This lasts for 8 seconds, with a cooldown of 25 seconds.
V4 is special, as the abilities depend on what gear you put in. It immediately grants max stats along with increased damage, speed, and healing by 10%. The Blood Siphon option makes it so all attacks have life leech, while its upgraded version increases the effect greatly. The Domain Expansion option adds a dark circle around the user, inside which any enemies cannot regenerate health and are blinded. It also enables nighttime passives during the day and reduces cooldowns. The upgraded version makes it so crows attack nearby enemies upon dashing and also increases the size of the dark circle.
Disadvantages –
Compared to its advantages, the ghoul race has very few downsides. Well, for starters, the speed buff is active only during the night, and the life leech only affects fighting styles, not fruits or swords. Of course, perhaps the most severe disadvantage of this race is how tedious the grind to unlock it is.
Once unlocked, the player can freely change back to this race without paying anything. The ghoul really seems like a jack of all trades, which makes it ideal for people who cannot choose a particular play style.
