MiSide is a single-player game that offers a psychological horror theme with a story-rich setup. While you might think that it is a relaxing life-sim at first glance, things will take a turn after you progress a little. We will not be spoiling the in-game story, so let’s get into the details of what you are here for. Since MiSide doesn’t come with Steam Cloud Saves support, the progress you make in-game on your PC will be stored locally. If you play games on multiple systems or have handhelds, Steam Cloud Saves becomes all the more important. But since this game doesn’t offer this feature, you will need to manually do all the transfers. But do you know where the game’s saved files are located? If not, this guide is going to help you a lot.
It’s 2024, and while not all, some game developers do fail to incorporate some of the most basic features in their games. MiSide, currently, doesn’t offer controller support and Steam Cloud Saves support, which are arguably the most common features that every game should support by default. Unfortunately, the devs at AIHASTO didn’t feel the same. However, despite the lack of such basic features, the game’s reception has been pretty good, with over 11K reviews on Steam stating it to be Overwhelmingly Positive. This shows that the game is worth a shot. Anyway, here’s all about accessing the game’s save files on handhelds and PCs.

MiSide Transfer Save Files: How to do it
To transfer saves, you will have to manually copy the contents of the game’s save files on the platform you have played and paste them into the platform where you want the progress to carry over. If you played the game on your PC, the game’s save file directory is located here: “C:\Users\UsernameFolder\AppData\LocalLow\AIHASTO\MiSideFull”. Now, copy the whole MiSideFull folder and transfer it to your secondary system via a USB stick. If it’s another PC or a PC handheld like Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go, the directory will likely be the same as mentioned above. However, if you are transferring the progress to a Steam Deck, here’s the directory you need to access: “/home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2527500/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/AIHASTO/MiSideFull”. Once you enter the same, paste the MiSideFull folder. A prompt will appear to replace the contents of the current folder with the copied one. Select yes and you are done.
So, this is how you can transfer save files of your progress in MiSide from one system to another. That said, we hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting Android Gram for more such interesting reads on a daily basis.
