Are you encountering an issue in The Last of Us Part II Remastered on your PC where, after pressing a button on your keyboard or clicking your mouse, the output is shown in-game with a delay? Well, then know that it’s not only you who’s encountering the same issue. Multiple players have been vocal about this problem and want a solution. So, if you too have faced the same, this is just the guide you need. Here, we have shared everything you need to know about this input lag issue and how to fix it for good.

Input lag issues aren’t just limited to this game. Even in games like Marvel Rivals, where response time is the deciding factor in whether you win or lose games, this issue exists. So, what causes this problem? Frame Generation. Yes, this new tech, which has been quite popular recently, is the sole reason why you encounter input lag in games. The technology is simple. When enabled, an additional frame is generated between two frames, and this introduces a heavy load to your GPU. While generating a new frame, the input lag becomes quite prominent, and this leads to a slow response time. So, how to fix it?

If you want to experience the world of The Last of Us Part II Remastered (PC) without any input lag, then you will have to disable Frame Generation. Disabling this means that your in-game FPS will be lowered, but the game will be more responsive, and you’ll not encounter any input lag. So, now you might be wondering, how to disable Frame Generation? Right? It’s quite simple. Head over to the game’s Options menu and then select the Display option. Here, scroll down until you find the Frame Generation option. Select Off for this setting and then find the Nvidia Low Latency Mode option. Toggle it on.

After making these changes, save them and then start your in-game journey. If the right settings are selected, then you will not encounter any input lag from now on.
