In Ark: Survival Ascended, the player awakens on a mysterious island brimming with creatures of the past to survive, form a tribe, tame and breed hundreds of ancient species, explore, and craft. However, as much as that sounds like this game emulates a prehistoric feel, do not let that fool you. You also have access to a lot of modern technology and methods to help you climb the food chain. High-tech armor, rocket launchers, and more exist at the same time as literal dinosaurs, which is certainly interesting. The Fabricator in Ark: Survival Ascended is one of the modern-esque tools that is essential to all of this.
The Fabricator is a structure in Ark: Survival Ascended that is used for creating high-end weapons, armor, and other components. The in-game description reads, “Place materials along with blueprints in this to create certain high-end machined items.” Yeah, it is not much help. What materials? What blueprints? All your questions will be answered; just keep reading this guide until the end.
Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) Fabricator: How to craft & use?

There are a few important things you should know about the Fabricator. Firstly, it requires Gasoline to run. Gasoline lasts in the machine for 15 minutes and is not consumed by crafting things. It is recommended to only use gasoline one by one, as the fabricator will burn through any excess inside it, regardless of whether it was used or not. If you turn off the furnace while there is still gasoline inside it, the gasoline will get depleted. A few other things to remember that may come in handy are that the Fabricator does not work underwater in Ark: Survival Ascended, and that despite being made of metal, it is treated as a wooden structure and can not be damaged by hands, stone weapons, or non-explosive ranged attacks.
If you have been playing this game for a while, you might have thought we missed Flak Armor in our list of things the Fabricator can craft. However, it was changed such that now you need a Smithy to craft it instead of the Fabricator. Anyway, hopefully, that cleared up any doubts you had about the Fabricator Ark: Survival Ascended.
