While you can head over to the game’s properties menu via Steam and then access the Language tab to change the language of the game, we recommend that you do so via the in-game settings menu. Doing so will enable you to set different languages for different aspects, such as subtitles, voiceovers, etc.
So, to change language, first, open Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and then head over to the Main/Pause menu. Here, select Options. Next, choose the Interface tab. In this tab, you will find a Text Language menu, using which you can change the in-game text language to any of the supported languages.
But to change the audio language, go to the Options menu and then select the Audio tab. Here, select General. In the General tab, you should be able to find the Voice Language option. Using this setting, you can set the voice-over language to only the supported languages for the same. Once selected, save the changes. You can change languages as many times as you want, without having to restart the game after every change.
