If you look at the next-gen version of Conan Exiles for Xbox Series X/S, you will notice massive graphics improvements. The quality of texture, the smoothness of shades, the overall lighting of the game, and every minor detail seems enhanced and improved. This is the exact reason why PlayStation 5 players want a special upgrade for the game too as PS5 is also a next-gen console like the Xbox Series X/S.
Unfortunately, there is no official news from Funcom’s side regarding the release of an upgrade that will support ultra-resolution and high FPS in the game for the PS5 console. So, even if you have the more-than-capable hardware of PlayStation 5 with you, you will still have to play the game on its usual 1080p resolution and the frame rate that was meant for PlayStation 4. This means, even after having a next-gen console like PS5, you won’t be able to utilize its full potential while playing Conan Exiles.
But keep in mind that Funcom was able to release a next-gen version of the game for Xbox series X/S, so we can at least hope that they will also consider a separate version of the game for PlayStation 5 as well. However, we can’t confirm anything because there is no official information regarding the same. Until then, you will have to play the game as it is.
