Coral Island: How to Adopt/Get a Pet?
There is a requirement you need to fulfill before you adopt a pet in Coral Island. Namely, your town rank needs to be at least an ‘E’ before you can adopt a pet. Once it is ranked ‘E’ or above, you can follow the steps listed below.
Firstly, go to the animal shelter and purchase a pet bed, irrespective of its type. Go back to your home and place the bed anywhere inside. Return to the shelter and head over to the counter. You should be able to choose any kind of pet you want from a pretty wide selection.
Keep in mind, though, that you can only get one pet, no matter how many pet beds you purchase. So be sure when adopting a pet, as you cannot change it later. You can, however, change their name once you have adopted a pet. Once you confirm the adoption, a short cutscene plays where your new friend is dropped off at your house. You should now be able to see your pet in the relationships tab under ‘Family’.
