The developers have mentioned in the FAQ that they are aiming to release Coral Island for the Nintendo Switch in 2024. The stated reason for this is that they want to make sure that the players’ experience with the Switch version of the game is the best. They have also mentioned that if you purchased a Switch key but want to play the game’s v1.0, they can facilitate a key exchange for a Steam key. All you have to do is send an email with the subject “Request to exchange to a Steam key” to support@stairwaygames.com. However, key changes between consoles are not possible.
As of right now, the developers have been fairly tight-lipped on any further developments aside from the 2024 release date of the game on the Nintendo Switch.
