Check internet connection:

Checking for issues with your internet connection is the primary concern in this situation. A strong internet connection is required for an app like Destiny 2 to perform all the necessary functions. Moreover, you need a good internet connection to perform the troubleshooting steps mentioned ahead. Hence, open other apps on your device and observe their performance. If the loading speed for all the apps on your device is dramatically reduced, it is most probably due to a weak internet connection. Contact your ISP and ask for assistance in the matter. Once your internet connection is fixed, the Destiny 2 app should be running smoothly. But if it does not, we still have some troubleshooting steps left.

Delete cache files:

Deleting cache files to fix a glitched app is the next best troubleshooting step. Long press the app icon on your device and navigate to the “Clear cache” option through “App info”. When you clear the cache files for the app, it should fix a minor glitch bothering it. If the problem persists, try the next step.

Restart device:

Restarting a device that is facing issues with a particular feature is an age-old troubleshooting method. Perform a quick restart on your device and open the Destiny 2 app on it to check if it is fixed.

Reinstall app:

Uninstall the Destiny 2 app from your device. Restart your device again to get rid of potential glitches in the system. After the restart, install the app again. Log into your account using the appropriate credentials. This will most definitely fix the problem.

Contact support:

If none of the above troubleshooting methods worked for you, contacting customer support is the best course of action. Your problem is something that needs special attention and professional help. Hence click here to contact a Bungie representative and report your problem.
