Dragon Ball games have always been fast paced, featuring high energy battles capturing the spirit of the anime. Today, we are seeing a release of a new Dragon Ball game named, Dragon Ball Genshiki Squadra. It is a unique squad based battle game where combat takes place in 4 on 4 theme. Squadra requires players to form a balanced team of Attackers, Defense and Support.
The game is currently available for Pre-Download, means players can download the game on their devices, but servers are under maintenance, which will be available later today at an unconfirmed time. In the game, players take either of one role, Attack, Defense or Support. The goal of the game is to destroy God of Destruction and capture the Dragon Ball before the enemy team, whosoever captures the Dragon Ball first, wins the game.
Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra features many popular characters on the release day including: Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Future Trunks, Piccolo, Android 18, Majin Buu, Zamasu, Kid Gohan, Baby Vegeta, Frieza, Dabura, Cooler, Ubb, Bojack, Caulifla, Goku Daima, Cell, Nappa, Android 17, Hit, Jaco, Gamma 1, Gamma 2 and Kale.
Well the game with such a diverse roster also requires proper balance of power, attacks and defense. Early feedback during beta testing saw a few characters in a more powerful position, while others struggled to find relevance. So based on the feedback of Beta testing, Bandai Namco is pushing the first patch of the game on the release day. The patch version is 1.1.0 which introduces huge range of buffs, nerfs and system tweaks aimed at improving gameplay. Underperforming heroes like Kid Gohan and Dabura have received boost while stronger characters like Baby and Android 18 have received nerfs.
