Dune: Awakening is an MMO at heart. While you can play it solo and experience the high difficulty, it’s always best to play it with friends. But what if you party with your friends in-game, and during a quest, you both get removed from it? Well, if that happens, you can just reinvite your friends or receive an invite from them, right? But this doesn’t happen. If you are disconnected from the party, you won’t be able to reinvite your friends due to a bug that is currently present in Dune: Awakening. So, what can you do to get rid of it? Is there a fix yet? Well, we have shared this guide featuring the most effective workaround for this issue that has worked for many. So, continue reading until the very end.
Having a fun time with friends and family is what co-op gaming is all about. But Dune: Awakening’s co-op party mechanics aren’t holding up as they should. Players have been reporting that they get kicked out of their party without any intimation and then when they want to rejoin it, they simply can’t. We know you are dealing with the same problem. Don’t worry. We have a very interesting fix.

Well, it seems like the developers are indeed aware of this issue and have shared that they are looking into it. In addition to this, they have also shared an effective workaround that has fixed the issue for some. Here’s what you need to know:
Disband party
Whenever you or your friend gets kicked out of the party, a bug prevents you from joining the other player. This happens because while you are kicked out of the party, the other player is still in the same party.
So, to get rid of this bug, the player who didn’t get kicked has to disband the party and then you can send them a party invite or they can send you one. How to disband a party? It’s simple. Simply press the P button while in-game to go to the Party/Social screen, and then press and hold the X button.
Note: Every member inside the party, including the one who got kicked, has to do it. After this, you can send and receive party invites.
Well, that’s all you need to do to fix the “unable to create party or receive invites” issue in Dune: Awakening. Since the developers are aware of this problem, an official fix will be released soon.
