There has been a new game in the series every three years. If we keep following this pattern, there should have been a new game this year, in 2023. But if you search for Escapists 3’s release in 2023, you will come up empty-handed. So, where is it? Well, one possibility is that a sequel was in the works, but the pandemic of 2020 derailed plans. The pandemic caused mass losses and layoffs in many companies around the world, so maybe that was the cause behind players not getting The Escapists 3 yet.
