Fixes for Google Play Books not working on iPad:
1) Sign in to the right account:
Users who are troubled because a book they purchased is missing from the library should check this. Make sure you have signed in to the right account. You can also verify the purchase by going to the ‘Purchases’ tab and check if the book can be seen there. If the book is missing, maybe the transaction wasn’t successful or you have signed in to the wrong Google Play Books account on your iPad.
2) Update the app:
Updating the app is helpful when you are facing issues with rented books and also missing books in your library. Check the App Store on your iPad for updates for the Google Play Books app. After updating the app(if an update is available) open the app to check if it is working the way you want it to.
3) Remove a book from a device:
There is a limit to the amount of devices on which you can download a book. If you have downloaded the same book on a few devices, remove it from a few of those. Go to Library > Remove Download> Remove > Delete from library > Delete. After this, there shouldn’t be any issues with the Google Play Books app on your iPad.
4) Reinstall:
Since none of the fixes mentioned until now managed to fix the app, uninstall the app. After uninstalling the Google Play Books app on from your iPad, go to the App Store and install it again.
