Is Overwatch 2 replacing Overwatch 1?
The simple answer to this question is yes. Sort of. Overwatch 2 is a complete overhaul of the first game’s PvP mode. In simple words, Blizzard is revamping the old game and adding new stuff to it. So, Overwatch 2 is basically a new and better Overwatch 1 with lots of fun stuff. So, does that means there will no longer be an Overwatch 1? Yes, Overwatch 1 will be fully upgraded to Overwatch 2 after the big update. Overwatch 2 will have a free-to-play PvP mode.
