Is there a fix?
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, there is no fix for this issue released yet. There is no known way to solve this issue as well. Since you can’t even enter your world, there is little you can do. The understanding is that the game saves when the animation starts. Due to this, when you load your world again, the animation loop continues, and you are unable to progress any further. The only known workaround for this bug is to delete the world and restart all over.
We don’t consider this a fix since you will lose the progress you have made in your world. Anyway, while there is no official fix, there are some workarounds that players have tried and reported to be working. We have shared them below:
1). Restart your system
Many players have reported that restarting their entire system (PC/Console) fixed the issue for them. Since this is situational, results after this may vary. But try this at least once. Restart your PC or console, launch the game, and head over to your Lego Fortnite world. Some also shared that restarting the game twice fixed the issue, so try this as well.
2). Go to Battle Royale and come back
Some players have reported that queuing in the Battle Royale mode and coming back fixed the issue for them. So, exit out of Lego Fortnite, queue in Fortnite BR, and then leave the game once you are spawned on the island. After this, head over to Lego Fortnite, load your world, and then check if the issue persists.
3) Wait a while
This issue might be temporary, so waiting for a while can be very effective. So, if you are unable to load into your world due to the cave animation loop bug, consider waiting and then checking if the issue persists.
4). Reach out to support
Well, reaching out to the official support team is the only thing you can try if none of the above-mentioned workarounds yield any results.
