Dwarfs aren’t the most delicate creatures in the world. They almost always have a chubby body, but they are as strong as anyone can get. Anyway, if you are playing Return to Moria, you might want to customize your in-game character as per your preference. Well, continue reading for more details.
LotR Return to Moria: How to change/customize Character Appearance
Appearance is a subjective thing, and whether you like it or not, all of your characters will have a chubby or fatty outlook. That’s the nature of dwarfs, and nothing can be done about that. Anyway, here’s how to change or customize the appearance of your in-game character:
The “Select Dwarf” menu
The game offers a character selection screen right before you enter a world. While you enter the game for the first time, you can create your main character. From then and there, you can opt to customize your character even further or simply make a brand-new one. Here’s how:
- Exit the game entirely and launch it again.
- Wait for the main menu to load.
- Click Play.
- Now, in the Select Dwarf menu, tap on Customize.
- Save it after it’s done.
That’s it! Now you have successfully customized your chubby friend. Remember that while a few games lock you from interfering with character customization after the initial process, LotR says no to that, and it allows you to freely customize your character anytime and as many times as you want. However, you cannot perform any customization after entering a world.
What can be customized on this screen?
Pretty much everything. From the beard color to the character’s voice, anything can be changed in the Select Dwarf menu. You can even choose main traits like personality and origin. That’s pretty neat, isn’t it? Also, if any option is missing, you can simply create a new character and be done with it. There are no limits to how many times you can customize or create a new character.
Why should you change your character’s personality traits?
Well, changing features like voice or beard style won’t make any difference in how the game progresses. You won’t get any benefit from changing personality traits either. But what you will get is a different set of emotes. As you know, LotR Return to Moria offers four different personalities. Eager will grant you dancing and funny emotes, while the focused trait will give you emotes that will look serious and more like those of a hardworking fella. Apart from that, there are no benefits to changing personality traits, so just play around and make your perfect character.
