Most people always prefer using Uber over any other car rental or ride. But Lyft still makes people want to choose it over the previous one. That is because of its price point and difference in a few features. The users who trust or prefer Lyft more than any other car rental service deserve nothing but the best service from it. Fixes for Lyft not showing rides:
Reopen app:
Close the Lyft app on your phone. If you are using an Android device, press hold the Lyft app icon and select the “Force close” option. But if you have an iPhone, swipe from the bottom of the screen to the middle to bring up the list of recently used apps. Remove Lyft from it. Now open the app again and check if Lyft is showing you the available rides.
Toggle Airplane mode:
Considering that most users access the Lyft app through a cellular connection outdoors, it is possible that your connectivity is somehow affected. The best way to refresh your network is to turn on the Airplane mode and then turning it off within a few seconds. Do this on your device and check if the Lyft app shows the available rides.
Restart device:
A restart is quick and easy to do. If your system functions are not working the way expected, it can cause some issues for the apps installed. Hence, restart your device and check if the Lyft app starts showing the rides available.
Update the app:
Open up the store native to your device(Play Store for Android and App store for iOS devices), and search for the Lyft app. Check if there is an update available for it. If there is, install it and check if that fixed the problem.
Reinstall the app:
Uninstall the Lyft app from your device. Now open up the store on your phone and search for the Lyft app. Install the app again and log into your account. Check if that fixes the problem preventing Lyft from showing rides.
Contact support:
If all the troubleshooting steps failed, it would be a good option to contact Lyft customer support. Report the issue so that a representative from Lyft can help you fix it.
