1) Give the necessary permissions:
Video calls require permission to use the default camera on your device. And if the Messenger Kids app does not have permission to use the camera on your device, go to the device settings. At the top of the screen, you should see a search bar. Search for “Permissions”. A list of all the hardware components will pop up. Select camera from the list. Check if the Messenger Kids app has permission to use the device camera. If permission is not given, tap on the button against it to allow access. After this, Messenger Kids should successfully connect the user on a video chat.
2) Use the default camera:
This goes for PC setups or laptops. There can be more than one camera attached to the system. So make sure that you have a default camera selected for the browser you use more frequently. If you cannot find the option to select your default camera, open the browser menu by selecting the menu icon at the top right corner of the screen. Then go to history and delete Messenger Kids. 4) Restart device:
