Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP): How to get & catch Gible?
To catch Gible, you will need to make sure of a few pre-requisites. Make sure that you have at least six gym badges before you start on this journey. Also, you will need the Strength and Cut moves enabled on the Hidden Moves app. While it is impossible to miss the Cut HM (you can get it through the main story in the northernmost part of Eterna City), gathering the Strength HM requires a bit of a fight. You will find the Strength HM on the top of the Lost Tower. However, you will have to battle your way up to the top of the tower and talk to the ladies waiting for you at the top.
Start your journey at the Eterna City and navigate to Wayward Cave using the 206 route. On the way to Wayward Cave, you will encounter a few obstacles like trees and rocks. Use the Cut move to clear trees and shrubs to keep moving. To move rocks, you can use the Strength HM.
Locate and capture a Gible
Now that you know what you need during the journey, follow these steps for a detailed understanding –
1) Head south of Eterna City.
2) Cross the cycling bridge.
3) You will now encounter some trees blocking your path. Use the Cut HM to clear your path.
4) Next, head north.
5) Once you see a passage under the cycling bridge, take left and go under the bridge.
6) Move around to locate the hidden entrance of the Wayward Cave.
7) Once you enter the cave, walk a bit.
8) You will see rocks blocking your path. Use the Strength HM to move the rocks.
9) Now move around until you find a wild Gible.
Being a Dragon and Ground-type Pokemon, Gible will be weak against Dragon, Fairy, and Ice-type moves. So, in order to battle Gible, you must choose an appropriate Pokemon from your party and keep throwing Pokeballs until it is captured.
