Those pokemon cannot be evolved simply by leveling up, so they need an evolutionary stone to achieve evolution. Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl: How to get Murkrow & evolve Murkrow into Honchkrow?
Catching Murkrow in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is quite easy. However, note that Murkrow is a Brilliant Diamond exclusive, so Shining Pearl will have to trade Murkrow from Brilliant Diamond players to add it to their roster. Since now you have Murkrow, you will need to get hold of a Dusk Stone to evolve it. To get a Dusk Stone in the game, you will need to visit the Galactic Warehouse in Veilstone City. Unfortunately, the warehouse will be locked so to get the warehouse key, you will need to head over to SnowPoint City and beat the seventh Gym. After this, interact with the Team Galactic Grunt outside of the HQ and they will hand you a key to the warehouse. You can get the Dusk Stone right inside the Warehouse.
After you get hold of a Dusk Stone, make sure Murkrow is in your party and use the item on the pokemon. Simply open your Bag and select the Dusk Stone and the game will prompt you to choose the pokemon which you would like to use it on.
