On December 16, an all-new Postcard Book feature was introduced in Pokemon Go as a part of the Holidays 2021 event. A Postcard Book in Pokemon Go will let you save gifts that you receive or are about to send. This way, you can remember those locations or memories of gift exchange in the game. Sounds fun, right? Pokemon Go Postcard Book: How to pin, view, use & delete Postcards?
The Postcard Book feature was added to promote the act of gifting during the Holiday Season. From now on, if a trainer sends a gift, a postcard from the gift’s Pokéstop location is also attached with the gift. With Postcards, you will also be able to save memories of you and your friends visiting a location to play Pokemon Go together. Just pin relevant Postcards to your Postcard Book to keep your sweet memories on Pokemon Go!
How to pin Postcards in Pokemon Go?
To pin a friend’s gift in your Postcard Book – open Main Menu, go to the Friends tab, tap on the gift you want to pin, and then finally tap the Pin icon beside the Open button. This will pin the gift to your Postcard Book, and you will be able to access it as you please. You can also access gifts from your Item Bag and pin them to your Postcard Book in a similar way.
How to view Postcards in Pokemon Go?
You can access the Postcard Book in Pokemon Go by going to your Trainer Profile and tapping the Postcard Book option between the Journal and Choose Buddy options. Or, you can find your Postcard Book in your Item Bag too. Just open your Postcard Book and tap on the memories you want to view. The Postcards will show you the date you received the gift and the sender’s name, along with the location.

How to delete Postcards in Pokemon Go?
Want to delete an old or irrelevant Postcard? Tap on the Postcard you want to delete, then tap on the three lines icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen, and then select Delete. There’s a special privacy option too – when you open Settings, you will see an option called Share your nickname in Friends’ Postcard Books. You can disable this if you don’t want your nickname to show up on your friends’ Postcard Books.
