How to get it?
Getting it is a little harder said than done. This is because there is a very specific requirement you need to fulfill to get this ring. This requirement is to have a particular outfit and a second playthrough. You will get this ring fairly soon in the new DLC. All you really need to do is be around when the preacher is in the square. However, you cannot get this ring during your first playthrough of the DLC since the set you require is not available at this point in the story. You will have to progress the story to get the Zealot set first and start a new playthrough in Adventure mode to get this item.
Once you get the Zealot set, you can come back to the square at the beginning of the Forlorn Coast area. Here, you will find Dran Preacher. With the Zealot set equipped, you can go and speak to him. What does it do?
Once you get the ring, you will immediately notice that it increases the damage of status effects by 25% while reducing their duration by 65%. This is not a drawback and is actually very good.
