Remnant 2 has been released with many unique in-game elements that will get you hooked. Whether it be powerful bosses that are satisfying to defeat or various kinds of roles that turn your character into a killing machine as the game progresses. That said, let’s see one of those roles/archetypes called Invader and how you can unlock it.
Roles, classes, or anything of the same sort has a different calling in Remnant 2, and that is Archetype. As you can pretty much guess by now, each role has its own unfair advantage over others. Some are good at healing, and some are good at killing. Let’s see where the Invader archetype fits in the game.
Remnant 2: How to Unlock the Invader Archetype
At the start of the game, players are given choices about their roles. Soon it becomes clear that whatever role you have chosen may not fit your style. Support mains should go with something like Handler, while sneaky ones should go with Invader. Facts aside, getting into the Invader class isn’t that easy. You need to complete two big steps first.
The Dreamcatcher
This is a weapon that can be exchanged for the Nightweaver Stone Doll. Fortunately, we already covered how to get and use the doll for this important weapon, and you can click here to check out the entire process. Long story short, you will need three stone-carved dolls that must be given to the lady in the basement. The lady is locked behind a cell, and once you unlock it and give the doll to her, the Nightweaver Stone will be lying down. Take it and, from the other dimension, use it in a cobweb. After that, the Dreamcatcher weapon can be obtained. Again, for more detailed steps, please read our guide.
Wooden Shiv
This is the core item that will be used to craft the Invader Ingram. First, reach the Root Earth level and search for the Main Ship. This main ship can be found in the Corrupted Harbor. Once located, you must enter the ship and look for a specific object called the Escalation Protocol Amulet. Don’t worry; this amulet doesn’t hold much significant value. Once located, you will notice that there is a creature holding it. Now use the Dreamcatcher weapon on the very same creature. After hitting it, you will get Walker’s Dream. This is a consumable item that can be used to directly travel to the other dimension or the Dream World. After consuming it, you will enter the Twilight Valley and come face-to-face with a boss named Bane. Defeat him, and you will gain a Supercharger Mutator and a Wooden Shiv.
Crafting
The biggest hurdles are over now. Now you need to get the following two items, which are listed below:
- Scraps x1000
- Luminite Crystals x10
After getting both of those items, head over to Ward 13 and look for Wallace. He will craft the Invader Archetype Engram (Serrated Root Blade) using the Wooden Shiv, Scraps, and Luminite Crystals. Now, you can equip it from the in-game character screen to switch to the Invader Archetype.
As the name of the archetype suggests, you will mostly be invading or escaping tight moments where your death is kind of certain with the Invader Archetype. One of the skills of this archetype, Reboot, allows you to take less damage, and after a brief delay, you will perform a reboot, restoring HP, stamina, relics, etc. instantly. Another skill is Void Cloak, which automatically evades direct damage and spawns a decoy with each evade. That said, we hope you find this guide informative.
