The Ride Games series has been repeatedly compared to the Forza games but for bikes. The original Ride game came out in 2015 and did decently well for itself. Since then, there have been four sequels, with the latest being Ride 5, which was only released this year in 2023. Of course, the difference between the first game and the latest one is staggering. Ride 5 features over 35 tracks and more than 200 bikes from various manufacturers. The graphics are almost as sharp as the turns on some tracks. It is worth noting that some players did feel that the sequel did not feature many significant changes over its predecessor, Ride 4. For an AAA title, Ride 5 did not seem to do well upon release at all. When compared to the original game, yes, there are significant improvements. Ride 6 Release Date for PC, PS5 & Xbox Series X/S
Well, as of now, Milestone s.r.l. hasn’t announced anything regarding a potential sequel to Ride 5. This does not mean we cannot speculate, however. We can make an educated guess. Being optimistic and assuming they are planning a sequel, of course. The first game was released in 2015, and its sequel followed a year later in 2016. After this, there was a 2-year gap, with Ride 3 being released in 2018. This game was a pretty significant upgrade and gained major popularity. Ride 4 came two years later, in 2020. Then, Ride 5 was released earlier this year, in 2023. This was a deviation from the trend of a new game released every 1-2 years, perhaps due to the pandemic. However, now things are going back to normal, which is why we think that the developers might be back on track to release the upcoming title in about 2 years. As per this speculation, Ride 6 is expected to be released in 2025 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, considering there is no delay in development.
Keep in mind that this is all just speculation based on trends, which is why you should take it with a pinch of salt. We do not even know if there will be a sequel. Or if there is, it might take more than a couple of years, owing to the game quality the developers need to beat.
