RoadCraft is an automobile sim featuring a world riddled with devastated infrastructures by natural disasters. The game is all about your ability to restore these infrastructures so that nothing comes to a halt in the vast 8 unique maps. You are the company head who specializes in this industry but that doesn’t mean your vehicles are immune to nature’s wrath. While fixing infrastructure or traversing the difficult terrain of the in-game world, you will eventually find yourself/your vehicle stuck in compromising positions. If you are unable to move your vehicle or if it has turned upside down, you will need to use the game’s recover feature to get it back on its wheels. But do you know how to recover or unstuck your vehicle in RoadCraft? If not, consider reading this guide, as we have shared all the details regarding the same.

Roadcraft Recover/Reset/Unstuck Vehicle: How to do it
No matter what vehicle you are using, you will be getting stuck in the various terrains of the game and that’s part of the experience. But suppose this happens during a mission. Would you want to reset your save and then start again just because you are stuck? No, right? Well, that’s when the recover function comes in handy. What it does is teleport your vehicle back to your chosen base and then you can drive it like nothing happened. Also, using this feature doesn’t cost anything. You can use it as many times as you want. But how to use this recovery feature?
If you find your vehicle stuck and unable to move, the game itself will display a Recover button on the top-left corner of the screen (this will only happen if the game thinks your vehicle is stuck). The default keybind to use this feature using a keyboard is the R key. If you press and hold the R key on your keyboard for a few seconds, a new menu will appear asking you to select the base or location you want your vehicle to be teleported to. Once selected, a black screen will appear and after a few seconds, you will find your vehicle back in shape on that location, ready to be driven. If you are using a controller, pressing and holding the D-pad Up button will initiate vehicle recovery.
Note: Cargo (including large pipes/equipment) attached to your vehicle might not be teleported when you use the recovery feature.
Recover prompt not appearing?
If your vehicle is stuck but the game isn’t showing the Recover prompt, then you can try a bunch of workarounds:
- First, try moving the vehicle inch by inch using the WASD buttons. See if slight movements trigger the Recover prompt.
- Secondly, switch camera angles and then check if it works.
- Drive a different vehicle and then switch back to the stuck vehicle to check whether the prompt appears.
If nothing works, then all there’s left to do is reload a previous checkpoint and then drive carefully.
Well, now you know all about how to recover or unstuck vehicles in RoadCraft. We hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting Android Gram for more such interesting guides on a daily basis.
