Apart from popular tweets, Twitter has also lately been the talk of the town for banning the ex-President of America, Donald Trump’s account. Trump has accused Twitter of supporting political propaganda several times. But as we know, Trump isn’t someone who would sit back doing nothing. In retaliation, Trump has launched his own social media platform. Truth Social is a Trump-backed social media platform that Donald Trump says, supports truth, promotes unbiased political and personal opinions, and facilitates the expression of personal views without restrictions.
Social media has always been notorious for creating frenzy about this stuff and that every now and then. The first-ever social media platform, Six Degrees came into existence way back in 1997. Ever since then numerous social media platforms have come and gone. Around the early 2000s, Orkut was the most popular social media platform. Then Facebook took over. Twitter is another social media platform that is used by millions across the globe. Twitter is always in news due to some of the other tweets by famous figures.
Truth Social app: Is it available for Android devices?
Since the Truth Social app has been launched, it has been the talk of the town. Truth Social’s popularity is mainly because of Donald Trump. More and more users have shown interest in joining the app. As a result, people are looking for ways to download it.
Are you an Android user? If yes, then tough luck because Truth Social is not yet available for Android users. However, the app might become available at any time for Android users as well. According to Donald Trump, the app is currently in beta testing stages and will be made available for Android devices ‘soon’. And when it becomes available, Android users will be able to download the Truth Social app by following these simple steps:
1) In your phone’s menu, you will find PlayStore. Tap on its icon and open the PlayStore.
2) Once you have opened the PlayStore, search for the app in the search bar in PlayStore. The search bar is a large blank bar on the top. To search for the app, you’ll need to type ‘Truth Social’ in the search bar on the keyboard.
3) Once Truth Social appears in the search bar, tap on its icon. You will now be able to see its features and the option to install it on the same page.
4) Tap on the Install option. You will see a popup seeking various permissions. Allow the app to be installed and allow the necessary permission.
What’s up with Truth Social?
To be clear, things with Truth Social don’t look very good at the moment. Although it was once the most downloaded app on App Store, the download numbers have now drastically fallen. Most users who downloaded the app were unable to use it because they were placed on a waitlist. Seeing the current status of the iOS app, it is unclear whether we’ll ever get to see Truth Social for Android. However, there’s definitely a possibility that shouldn’t be disregarded yet.
