Zelda Tears of the Kingdom (ToTK) Sword of the Hero Location: Where is it
Like many other weapons and armor pieces, the Sword of the Hero is located in the Depths. Getting to the location is a pain because of dangerous enemies and poor vision in the Depths. But don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered.
How to Enter the Depths
While you can reach the Depths by heading into any of the numerous chasms spread across Hyrule, we will guide you to the chasm that is located closest to the Sword of the Hero.
Start from Lookout Landing (-0254, 0102, 0018), Central Hyrule. From Lookout Landing, head southwest towards Mount Hylia. You can solve the Tadarok Shrine puzzle (-1082, -2187, 0143) to unlock fast travel. From the shrine, head to the coordinates (-1432, -1993, 0226) to reach the Great Plateau West Chasm. Hop into the chasm, and you will reach the Depths.
Travel through the Depths to Reach the Sword of the Hero
After you’ve jumped into the Depths, you will arrive at the Hylia Canyon Mine. Head west until you arrive at the Nabooru Canyon Mine. There is a large crystallized charge in this mine. So grab it while you’re here. Read this article to get more information on how to get and use crystallized charges in the game. Anyway, from this mine, head north until you arrive at the Muzasu Lightroot at the Dalite Grove (-2138, -0875, -0563). Although you have to head back to the Dalite Grove, first grab the Lightroot to unlock fast travel.
From the Muzasu Lightroot, head into the Dalite Grove and walk past the Gloom-filled land located at the entrance of the Grove. If you observe your map, the Dalite Grove is divided into two sections by a long, narrow, empty patch of land. Head to the other side of the land and look for a giant tree stump. The stump is located almost at the center of this section of the Grove. You’ll know that you’re in the right direction once you see a gloom tree (a red glowing tree) wake up and approach you. Run past it, hop onto the elevated slope, and you will arrive at the giant tree stump. Here are the coordinates: (-2045, -1102, -0545).
If you reach the interior of the stump, you will notice that the stump encircles another glowing red tree that is approaching to attack you and a treasure chest. Ignore the tree and open the chest containing the Sword of the Hero. The sword offers a base damage of 17.
