Wondering how to enable voice chat in Dying Light 2? Well, a co-op game like Dying Light will majorly require means to communicate. It may not seem obvious, but Dying Light 2 endorses tactical gameplay while in co-op. After all, fighting zombies with three friends is always better than fighting zombies alone. You can also choose to match up with random players online. Whatever it may be, you will want to communicate with your teammates at some point in the game. Say, you are planning to complete a mission and you want your friends/teammates to help you out. In such cases, communication will be an important key. So let’s find out how to enable or use voice chat in Dying Light 2 co-op.
How to unlock co-op and voice chat?
The campaign is solo – you will be taking the role of Aiden Caldwell, who is looking for his lost sister, Mia. To complete the campaign, you will need to walk through the story and complete main story missions. This will also be the only way you can unlock co-op in Dying Light 2. Well, you cannot use voice chat in the solo campaign mode [obviously]. Co-op is unavailable in the game at the very beginning. You can only host and join co-op sessions after you complete the main story mission – Markers of Plague.

2) The host and all his/her teammates are subjected to losing items permanently in co-op.
How to enable voice chat in Dying Light 2?
Open up the Pause Menu [Press ESC key on your PC] and then select the Online Menu option. Here, navigate to the Online Options tab and open it. Next, use the arrow keys beside the Game Type to change it to Public or Friends Only. A public game will allow randoms to join your team and a “friends only” type will let you invite friends from your list. While you are at the Online Options, you will also find Voice Chat and Voice chat volume options. Simply check the box beside Voice Chat to enable it. You can also adjust the voice chat volume accordingly. Once you enable voice chat, you and anyone who joins your team will be able to use voice chat.
