Learn more about the April 2022 EFT ban wave here in this article!
Escape From Tarkov is an action-RPG FPS and is popular due to its advocacy of realism. The game was released as beta back in 2017. Interestingly, even in 2022, EFT continues to remain in beta. The official release date of the popular shooter is unknown. To anticipating fans, it may seem like Battlestate Games have no intention of officially releasing the game whatsoever. The wait never seems to end! However, the game has been receiving content updates and patch fixes for issues regularly. The player base continues to grow as days pass and as a result, the game is quite successful even in beta. Some rumors suggest that the game may release by the end of 2022. But, there’s no weight to this rumor due to the obvious lack of an official clarification.
Escape from Tarkov April 2022 Ban Wave may have hit legit accounts
Many players have claimed that the huge April Ban Wave has affected legit Escape From Tarkov accounts. Yes, it has managed to clean the server of many cheaters. But the effect it has had on legit accounts has not been favorable to Battlestate’s reputation. However, every video game ban wave has some users reporting “false bans”, but there’s mostly no integrity to those claims. In case of EFT, the ‘false ban’ situation is probably the same. However, if you feel that the wave terminated your account without a reason, you can always submit a ban appeal.

Escape From Tarkov is not a free-to-play title. The standard edition of the game comes at $44.99 while the premium editions cost more, the highest being $139.99. Usually, cheaters don’t infest such premiumly priced video games. However, legit players in EFT regularly come across cheaters using aimbots, fly hacks, door unlock hacks, wall hacks and even visualization of incoming threats. It is also possible to unlock free and paid accounts for EFT from third-party sources, as per some reports. Some cheaters see this as an opportunity and sell their accounts after maintaining good stats using hacks. After the massive April 2022 ban wave which has managed to affect 9000 accounts, cheaters using ridiculous tools should keep away from EFT, at least for sometime.
We constantly commence ban waves of cheaters. But yesterday there was a wave that I want to note – minus 9000 cheaters. 😈

How to submit a ban appeal?
Cheating, including hacking, has always plagued the video gaming community. As a result, most developers have become vigilant about their product’s fair play policy. According to Nikita Buyanov, the officials regularly deploy Escape From Tarkov ban waves. Cheaters should consider this as a warning for the future. However, if you feel you were falsely banned from the game, you can always submit a ban appeal. Escape From Tarkov’s anticheat, BattlEye has been known to be merciless against cheaters, but has sometimes ended up banning legit accounts in the process. In such a case, we recommend emailing Battlestate Support at support@battlestategames.com. Elaborate on your situation and make sure you add a proper subject line.
