How to give control on Google Meet?
Unfortunately, Google Meet does not have an in built way of giving screen control to a participant in the meeting. This may not seem like a huge problem. But if we consider certain situations, the absence of this feature will definitely be disturbing. Although you can use this feature by installing an extension to your browser. It is not the most efficient way of going about this, but it is a work around for it nonetheless. Installing the Chrome remote desktop extension will give you the tools necessary to give control on Google Meet.
Search for ‘Chrome Remote Desktop’ on your Chrome browser. Click on the official link to install the extension for your browser. If you are unable to locate the link, just click here. Once the extension is installed, give it all the necessary permissions it needs from your computer. Now generate a code using the extension and give the code to the person who is going to share your computer. With the similar setup at their end, they will be able to gain control of your computer even though it is not through Google Meet directly.
