Fixes for Frndly TV not working on Roku:
Power cycle your router:
Power cycling your router will eliminate any possibilities of a weak internet connection. Turn off your router and unplug the power cable. If you have a modem attached, unplug that as well. If your modem happens to have batteries, you will have to remove those. Wait for about a minute and then set up your router the way it was before. Connect your Roku device to the internet connection and then check if the Frndly TV channel is working.
Restart app and device:
Close the Frndly TV app or channel on your Roku streaming device. Now restart your Roku, but not using the remote. Unplug its power cable from the wall outlet and wait for 30 seconds. Now plug the power cable back and turn on the device. Open Frndly TV to check if it is fixed.
Remove the channel:
First, you need to remove the Frndly TV channel from Roku and then add it again. To remove the channel, do the following – Press the Home button on the remote and locate the Frndly TV app. Hover over the app and press the * button on your remote. From the menu that shows up, select “Remove channel” and then confirm by selecting “Remove” again.
Once the Frndly TV channel is removed from the Roku device, go ahead and add it back. Press the Home button on your remote again and go to Streaming channels > Search channels > Frndly TV > Add channel. Once you add the channel back, it should work the way you expect it to.
Check for updates:
