Sets in TFT are updates for the game that the devs release every now and then. However, it is interesting to see that the average time span between each set release is around 6 months. If we look at the set of Reckoning and later releases, we can deduct a pattern out of it. We can see that the second expansion of Reckoning got its release after three months, that is in July 2021. Also, the sets of Gizmos & Gadgets and Dragonlands follow the same pattern of three months gap between their expansions.
However, if we compare the release gap between two full sets, the last three sets have a gap of approximately six months.
