Sets in TFT are updates for the game that the devs release every now and then. Starting from the Beta set launched in June 2019, the game has come along with the expansion of its latest set release named Dragonlands. The Dragonlands set has also two expansions as of now. The first one is known as the Dragonlands itself and the second one is Uncharted Realms. Uncharted Realms is the latest set expansion of TFT featuring exciting things like new units and dragons. However, after getting the latest release of Set 7.5, fans are excited to know about TFT Set 8 release date and when it will be available in the game. In this article, we shall discuss the release of Set 8 for the game and what are the possibilities that come along with it.

TFT Set 8 Release Date: When it will be available
Since the latest set, Set 7.5 Uncharted Realms just got its release, there is no official announcement for Set 8. However, it is interesting to see that the average time span between each set release is around 6 months. If we look at the set of Reckoning and later releases, we can deduct a pattern out of it. We can see that the second expansion of Reckoning got its release after three months, that is in July 2021. Also, the sets of Gizmos & Gadgets and Dragonlands follow the same pattern of three months gap between their expansions.
However, if we compare the release gap between two full sets, the last three sets have a gap of approximately six months. This means if we were to make any assumption regarding the 8th set of TFT, we can put it somewhere at a time span of six to seven months. Since the set of Dragonlands got its release in June 2022, if we move forward 6 months into this timeline, we can be expecting Set 8 of TFT to be released sometime around the month of December 2022 or January 2023.
Conclusion
Well, these are just speculations based on the data of previous releases. In the end, it’s totally up to Riot Games and their management on when Set 8 will release. However, it is fair to say that players will need at least 3 months more to explore Set 7.5, at the moment. However, let’s hope that Set 8 also comes with new items, traits, and other fun elements that will keep the hype of TFT alive. Until then, you can explore the new units and dragons of Set 7.5.
