Fixes for SmartCast Home are not available:
Test your internet:
Running a connectivity test on a Vizio device is easy. Press the menu button on the remote. Now go to the Network menu and select the option that says “test connection”. If the network speed is 0 or disconnected. Here are some things you can try to fix your internet connection with. Check all the cables that are going in and out of your router. Make sure that all of them are inserted all the way through. If the internet connection is still affected, contact your ISP for assistance in the matter. Once your internet connection is fixed, the SmartCast Home will be available again.
Refresh the SmartCast Home:
It is recommended to refresh the Vizio SmartCast Home when it is not available. Change your TV input to SmartCast and press the menu button on your remote. Locate the System Menu option and select it. Change the system language to French or Spanish and do not close the window. You should see the SmartCast Home loading in the background. Once it loads, change the language back to English. This should fix the problem on your device.
Reset device:
If the steps given above fail to fix your problem, resetting the Vizio TV is the only option left. Press the Menu button on your remote and go to Reset & admin > Reset to Factory > Settings > Reset. Keep in mind that any customized setting will be wiped along with the user data.
