MotoGP 22 is all about the power you can bring to the track in order to defeat your opponents. However, power is not only about being the fastest racer on track. Power is also about having the ability to put a stop to your wheels when you know you can’t make a turn at that speed, or can’t go further. Having absolute control over the grip of both your accelerator and brakes can make you not only the fastest but the most dangerous racer on the track for your opponents. However, in MotoGP 22, the game might take away the opportunity to learn braking mechanics from beginners. This is due to an option in the game which is called “Auto Brakes”. But is there a way to turn off this option? Let’s have a look at it.

How to turn off the auto brake in MotoGP 22
If you are just joining the journey of MotoGP 22, you may be experiencing a phenomenon in the game where you are unable to do the braking at your will. Although for some racers, this might be undoubtfully a really helpful feature in the game, if you are thinking of spending serious hours, we recommend you get rid of this feature. Throttling your engine through the tracks is one of the coolest and most satisfying things to perform, but sometimes knowing when and how to break can really evolve you as a racer. But again, auto brakes might be preventing you from learning this essential technique.
So, to put an end to the auto brakes, all you have to do is turn this feature off. The first step you need to take is to launch MotoGP 22. Now, head over to the Career mode of the game. From here, you will need to go to the “Riding Aids” option. You can go to this option by pressing the triangle button on your PS controller or the Y on your Xbox controller. Once you have landed on the Riding Aid window, look for the heading that says “Braking System”. Under this heading, the first option that you will find is “Auto Brakes”. Now, all you need to do is switch this option to “OFF”.
By switching off the auto brake feature, you will be taking control of all the braking mechanics in the game by yourself. Once you get familiar with the tracks, you will be able to glide your bike through the asphalt like butter. Therefore, keep building your muscle memory and own your opponents in every race.
