We all know that there was a time when creatures like dinosaurs and Titanoboa roamed on Earth. Well, nature took care of them. We had no idea how they might look to the human eye until Jurassic Park came into existence. It showed us things that we only saw in picture books or scientific journals. Thanks to that, we had many great adaptations and games based on similar themes. Today we will look at something similar called Exoprimal. It’s an online-only team-based action FPS that uses modern technology and puts players against those same kinds of ferocious beasts called dinosaurs. But wait, what if you could be one of them?
Exoprimal: How to Play as a Dinosaur
Well, it may sound impossible, but in reality, it isn’t. Playing as a dinosaur in Exoprimal can be achieved if you know how it’s done. So what’s the wait? Let’s dive right in. You won’t be able to capture any Dinosaurs in the game, right from the start. The game itself has a mechanism that allows players to summon one dinosaur per game. Also, this has some limitations; otherwise, you will only see dinosaurs in the match and not other players. So let’s see what these are and how to use them to your advantage.
The Dominator
Sounds fancy, right? Well, don’t be. Because it’s a common item that looks like a gadget with a hologram of a dinosaur on the top. The Leviathan AI will announce the arrival of the Dominator, so make sure to be ready when the announcement occurs. Upon using it, it will summon a massive dinosaur that you can control to wreak havoc on enemies. Also, it has only one use per game. But this much is certain: it deals massive damage, leaving the other team running for their lives. It has a huge health pool, so even if multiple enemies surround it, you won’t feel a thing. But there’s a catch!
The Purple Bar
Despite being OP, it has a big limitation, and that is the time limit. It doesn’t matter how much HP you have left; once the purple bar is empty, it’s all over. Also, it seems like you won’t be getting the same dinosaur each time. According to our research, you will be playing either Triceratops or Carnotaurus for the most part. In some rare cases, you may get anything else, like a T-rex, but that depends on chance or luck.
The Overcharge
Overcharge attacks are the trump cards to battle the player-controlled dinosaurs. Also, since you will be using it only once per game, make sure to be careful when and where you use it. For a quick note, it deals the maximum amount of damage possible. So, if you encounter an opponent’s player-controlled dinosaur, Overcharge will help you win the duel quickly. But remember that it can be dodged, so precise timing is needed; otherwise, you will waste your only chance.
Just like in any other game, a good strategic mind is needed to use this golden opportunity to its fullest and wait for the right moment to summon the dinosaur. Most likely, other players will try to summon it immediately if they see another player-controlled dinosaur flanking them. Well, now it’s up to you to decide when and how to use it.
