Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (PSV) Teal Mask DLC Syrupy Apple: How to get & find?
The Teal Mask DLC added a lot of new and returning Pokemon to the roster of Pokemon featured in PSV. One of them, Applin, is a grass/dragon-type Pokemon that can evolve when in the vicinity of a particular type of apple. There are 3 possible evolutions: Frapple when exposed to a Tart Apple, Appletun when exposed to a Sweet Apple, or Dipplin when exposed to a Syrupy Apple. In order to evolve it into Dipplin, you will need those Syrupy apples.
How to get them?
Getting Syrupy apples is simply a matter of buying them from the store. They are not world-spawned items that you have to go hunting for. If you make a short and quick trip to the Mossfell Confluence in the Land of Kitakami, you can buy them from the store there. It is important to note that there will not be a vendor at the store. You will have to place the required currency in the box and then take the apples from there. This is all you really need to do to get Syrupy Apples in the Teal Mask DLC. Additionally, this area is located at the very start of the Teal Mask DLC region, so you should pass by it normally as you explore the map and region.
How much does it cost and what does it do?
Each of these Syrupy Apples costs 500 Pokedollars, and they are the only thing you can buy at the stand. There isn’t much use in buying them because their use is limited. They cannot be used for anything other than the evolution of Applin to Dipplin. There is no limit on the number of Syrupy Apples you can buy from this stand, however, and that makes it easy to get them. This also means it will always be in stock, and you can pick one up before you even find an Applin to evolve into a Dipplin. Once you get one, though, you can evolve them when they reach the required XP to evolve.
