Fortnite Chapter 5 Matchmaking Queue Full Issue: Is there any fix yet

Fortnite is one of the most played games globally. With thousands of players logging in every day, this game is a huge source of revenue for its parent company, Epic Games. Fortnite recently saw the release of Chapter 5, its latest update, and this brought with it various issues, bugs and also changed some very integral aspects of the game. One error that makes a lot of players unable to play the game is the Matchmaking Queue Full error. So, if you are struggling with the same, consider reading this guide for more details.

Bugs and glitches are part of any game, but when bugs like this exist, the developers are forced to take action and deal with such issues. At the end of the day, most of these issues are server-side issues, but there are some issues you can solve by being creative or changing small metrics when you enter matchmaking. In this guide, we have shared some effective workarounds that you can use to deal with this issue in-game.

Fortnite Chapter 5 Matchmaking Queue Full Issue: Is there any fix yet?

So, the matchmaking issue in Fortnite is essentially an issue where you are forced out of a matchmaking queue. Due to this error, you are restricted from queuing for an online match. While this issue wasn’t quite common in the game, with the release of the Chapter 5 update, things went haywire as many started to encounter it.

How to fix it?

As of writing this guide, there is no official workaround to solve this issue. Since this is a major problem, we are sure that the developers will eventually be working on fixing it, but we don’t know when a patch will go live that fixes it for good. At this point, since this is a server issue, there is little you can do. All you can really do is deploy general fixes and hope that they will work out for you. With that being said, here are some of the most useful workarounds for you to try:

1). Check Network

Make sure you are connected to a strong and stable network. If this is not the case, switch your network connection. Additionally, as an added measure, try using a wired connection. This will improve the quality of the connection and hopefully get rid of any connectivity-related issues.

2). Switch Server Region

Change the Matchmaking Server Region in-game from the one you are currently experiencing this issue in. You can do this by heading into the in-game settings menu, selecting the Game tab, and locating the Matchmaking Region option. If the issue persists, you can try moving on to the next step.

3) Join party

If the error keeps occurring while you are trying to solo queue, consider joining a party and asking the host to start the matchmaking queue. Doing so might fix the issue.

4). Wait

The last option is to actually wait for the developers to solve the issue on their end. While this can take a while, it is the most reliable solution. Since many players are reporting this, it is likely going to be patched out very soon. Waiting might be the most prudent course of action.

It is also possible that this issue is actually caused by the influx of players after the new season update. With so many players playing the game, the server might have reached its capacity, due to which you are encountering this issue. So, trying again after a while is the only thing you can do to get rid of this matchmaking error.

That is all we have on how to fix this issue in Fortnite. If you found this guide helpful and would like to read more, make sure to visit Android Gram regularly.
