Featuring similar gameplay to the award-winning game Stray, LKBC features a little kitty whose catnap turned into a huge adventure. Away from home, you, as the little kitty, have to navigate through the uncertainties of the city, making friends along the way, completing various quests, and so much more. But during your adventures, it is possible that your little kitty can get stuck or locked to a certain position it isn’t meant to be in. In such a situation, you will have to start from scratch, as the game doesn’t offer an “unstuck” option. However, there is a workaround worth trying if you are indeed encountering a similar issue.
If you have played Stray, you must be familiar with the fact that the cat would show signs of taking damage (limping) when it fell or got hurt by something. However, in Little Kitty, Big City, the cat is almost like a superhero, as it doesn’t react to any sort of damage. But as we mentioned, it is almost a superhero. A superhero wouldn’t get stuck, would they? The cat in LKBC is known to get stuck or clipped in various buildings due to glitches in the in-game world, which requires you to restart your save. Little Kitty, Big City: How to Unstuck
Most open-world games, including V Rising, offer players the Unstuck option to get their in-game characters out of unwanted situations. However, this option is currently unavailable in Little Kitty Big City. In the absence of this option, several players have taken to the game’s Steam discussion forum to request that the developers include this feature. Although the request hasn’t been acknowledged by the developers yet, there is a very effective workaround to fix the issue. So, until an Unstuck button is released in-game, here’s what you need to do:
Steam version
- First, save the game and then exit it.
- After this, open Steam, go to Library, and right-click on LKBC.
- Here, select Properties, and then go to the General tab.
- In the Launch Options textbox, enter the given command: “-dev”. This will enable the developer console in-game.
- Once added, launch the game and select the save. Now, press the F4 key to bring up the developer console, choose the teleport option, and select the character you want your cat to teleport to. Doing so will unstuck your cat.
Xbox Game Pass version
Since the game pass version doesn’t come with a client launcher like Steam, you will have to add the “-dev” command to the game’s .exe file. Here’s how you can do so:
- Open the Xbox application, go to the game’s tile, and select the 3 dots option.
- After this, select Manage>Files>Browse. This will take you to the game’s installation directory.
- Here, open the Content folder and copy the game’s .exe file.
- Now, paste it on Desktop as a shortcut. Next, right-click on the shortcut, select Properties, and in the Shortcut tab, find the Target attribute. Here, add the “-dev” command at the end of the .exe line. It should look something like this: “C:\XboxGames\Little Kitty, Big City\Content\Little Kitty, Big City.exe” -dev
- Once done, click on OK. Now, launch the game, load into your save, and press the F4 button. You can then teleport to the character you want, getting your cat unstuck.
