If you have given R.E.P.O. a try and have played for an hour at least, you will start to notice that the game has some unnecessary post-processing effects that, while adding more to the immersion, can be taxing to your eyes. The overall pixelation to the motion blur and bloom, these effects are not always welcomed. And, for a game that emphasizes horror, you wouldn’t want such effects to come your way while exploring unknown areas. That said, if you are wondering how to disable these settings in the game, this is just the guide you need.

There are a ton of effects in R.E.P.O. that at first might seem interesting, but if you play the game for several hours, you might get the urge to disable them. Luckily, the developers have thought of this and have included toggle options in the game’s settings menu for players to be able to change them at will. So, which settings will you need to change? More details on the same are shared below.

By adjusting the settings in R.E.P.O., you can change the in-game world from a distorted one to an entirely polished one. All you need to do is access the game’s settings menu. How? Simple. If you are in the main menu, select the Settings option. If you are already in-game, press the Esc button and then select the Settings option. Now, in the Settings menu, click on the Graphics tab. In this menu, you will find a bunch of graphics-related settings. What you need to do is scroll down. Now, you will get access to the following settings:

  • Motion Blur: On/Off
  • Lens Distortion: On/Off
  • Bloom: On/Off
  • Chromatic Aberration: On/Off
  • Grain: On/Off
  • Glitch Loop: On/Off
  • Pixelation: Preference

Using these settings, you can disable any of the extra post-processing effects that you might feel are unnecessary. Once you’ve made the changes, head back into the game to check whether you like the changes.

With that said, now you know all about how to disable motion blur, chromatic aberration, and other post-processing features in R.E.P.O. We hope that you find this guide informative. If you did, consider visiting Android Gram for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
