Supermarket Simulator has been in early access for quite some time, and finally, on June 19, 2025, the game’s full version has been released. This release was also accompanied by a new update that brought a ton of additions to the game. First of all, there’s the new Online Orders and Delivery feature where you can deliver products to customers directly. Apart from this, a lot of bug fixes and QoL changes are also introduced. For new players, the full release of Supermarket Simulator might seem to be very lucrative, but players who have already spent countless hours in the game’s early access version are encountering a serious issue. As per reports, the progress or shelves/items they’ve made or created in the game’s early access version have disappeared right after they updated the game. For some, the issue occurs when they try to save their progress. After every save attempt, a shelf disappears. This isn’t something that the developers want their player base to experience. So, is there a fix yet? Let’s find out.
The early access version of Supermarket Simulator hasn’t been without its fair share of bugs and issues. But most of them were pretty minor and not game-breaking. On the other hand, this item-disappearing bug in the game’s full release is a game-breaking bug that needs the immediate attention of the developers. Do note that this issue existed in the game’s early access version too, but instead of getting fixed, the issue became more widespread now. Unfortunately, as of writing this, there hasn’t been any official acknowledgment by the developers regarding this issue. So, an official fix for the same might take some time. Meanwhile, what can you do?

Supermarket Simulator Items/Shelves Disappearing Issue After Update: Is there any fix yet
Well, this isn’t something that you can fix using a bunch of workarounds. This issue is entirely due to how the game has been coded and there’s nothing players can do to fix it. You can try starting a new save and then check whether the same issue persists, but then you will risk losing all your progress you made. For now, what you can do is wait for the developers to release an update regarding this issue. Since it is currently encountered by many, the developers will take note of this soon.
If we get more information on this matter or discover a workaround that works, we will make sure to update this guide as soon as possible. Until then, keep visiting Android Gram for more such interesting reads on all things gaming.
