Spotify’s huge collection can overwhelm a lot of users. Music lovers are pretty specific about what they would want to hear. When it comes to looking for new genres, users can get lost in Spotify very easily. Heard about Spotify Palette?
Spotify Palette is a website that can be very fun to use. Created by a software developer and University of Texas graduate Israel Medina, it is not an official counterpart of Spotify. But the website can be used in conjunction with Spotify. The website analyses your song history from Spotify and, using that data, creates a color palette for you. The algorithm of the website considers three characteristics: danceability, valence, and energy of each song. The color palette will be a representation of your interests.
How to register
Registration is easy on Spotify Palette. Every regular Spotify user should try it out. Here’s how to register.
- Visit Spotify Palette from here.
- Log in to Palette using Spotify’s credentials.
- Palette will collect data from Spotify API and give a color palette result, explaining why you see the colors.
- Click the music note icon in the menu, and you will be able to see your most played songs with color codes.
- You can also see that your songs will be associated with a random artistic picture on the same page.

Spotify Palette not working: Fixes?
Spotify Palette is a web application and hence not immune to bugs and issues. If you face trouble with Spotify Palette, we are listing a few common fixes for the same.
- Unresponsive website? Try restarting the browser you are using. Close all tabs first.
- Slow loading speeds? Check your network connection and try again.
- Still facing issues? Check whether Spotify Palette is down for you or everyone from this website.
- After trying the above tips, the issue still exists? Clear your browser data and cache from Settings. Previous browser cache can interrupt your Palette session.
Make sure you listen to a considerable number of music tracks from Spotify; otherwise, the Palette won’t get enough data to pull out a color palette for you. There is no official support for Spotify Palette issues, but users can check out the extensive documentation the developer has left on this page.
Hope you got your own palette!
