After over a decade of release, Sonic Colors will be getting a remastered version under the name Sonic Colors Ultimate. If you want to know whether the game will be available on PS5, then you are at the right place as we will be discussing the same.
Published by Sega, Sonic Colors was released back in 2010 on Wii and was one of the best Sonic games for a while. However, with the growing popularity of other games as technology advanced quite a bit, the game lacked the level of engagement and visuals that many players sought as it was initially released for Wii only. However, now, with the new Sonic Colors Ultimate, every Sonic Colors fan will be feeling nostalgic since it is almost similar to the original version but with advancements in visuals as well as mechanics.
So, whenever any remastered game is released, the first question that comes to mind of the players is, Will the game be available on such and such platforms? Likewise, players are wondering if Sonic Colors Ultimate will be available on PS5. The answer to this is no.
Sonic Colors Ultimate: PS5?
Unfortunately, it seems that Sonic Colors Ultimate won’t be getting a PS5 version. In the trailer, we can see the box art for the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game but there is no mention of the PS5. The game will also be available on Xbox Series X|S but not on PS5 which is quite a bizarre selection.
Well, the fact that Sonic Colors Ultimate will be available on Xbox Series X|S, players expected that the PS5 version of the game would be released as well. But, interestingly Sega decided not to include it. But, we never know if there is going to be a PS5 version in the future, but currently, for the PS5 players, things look quite disappointing.
