Fixes for ADT Pulse app:
1) Force stop and clear cache:
Long press the ADT Pulse app icon on your phone. This will trigger a pop-up. There you will see an option called “App info”. Select that. If you don’t see a pop-up, go to your device settings and locate the settings specific to ADT Pulse. You will find that under “System apps” or related tabs. After selecting App Info, tap on ‘Force Stop’. This will put a halt to all the functions that are running in the background for the ADT Pulse app. Then, select “clear cache”. This should fix the ADT Pulse app for good.
2) Check network status:
Make sure that your device has a strong internet connection. This is something that needs close attention when you are traveling. Every place you visit may not have the same coverage. So it’s better to have a reliable source of internet connection when on the go to avoid network issues.
3) Check for updates:
Check the app store on your device for any lined-up updates for the ADT Pulse app. If there is a pending update for the app, install it immediately. After the installation, open the app to check if it is working. In most cases, it should start working after this step.
4) Reinstall app:
Reinstalling the app from scratch is the only option if the problem wasn’t solved by the troubleshooting methods listed above. It is the easiest way to clear the database of any residual files. Uninstall the app first and then restart your device. Now install the app again. Login to your account and check if the ADT Pulse app is fixed.
