Ark Survival Ascended takes the gameplay of Ark Survival Evolved and evolves it using Unreal Engine 5. This is more than just a graphical update, though. The Yuty, or Chicken Rex, is a large carnivore that has a feathered and furry appearance. It is most commonly spotted in the northernmost area of the Island map. If you see one of them, beware, because they usually have three Carnos spawning with them. They have a special buff that they apply when they roar. It increases the movement speed and attack damage of allied creatures. They also have a fear roar, which, when wild, affects dinosaurs smaller than them and sends them into a frenzy. You lose control of them until the effect wears off. Since they are such useful creatures, it is obvious that you would want to tame them eventually.
How to tame them?
Since they are large carnivores, you are going to need to trap them. Get doorframes, stone foundations, and stone walls and place them in a 3×3 grid in such a way that the three sides are covered with walls and one side has a ramp (outside slanting). Well, place a large bear trap into the trap and lure them in. After they are immobilized, you can knock them out by shooting them with tranquilizer arrows. Once they are knocked out, feed them extraordinary kibble to start the tame. You can also feed them raw mutton and raw prime meat.

Since Yutys are very aggressive, you are going to also want to clear the area of any dinos they might attack and focus their attention on you. Since the carnos are buffed by the roar, it is best to deal with them far away from the Yuty, where they can’t be rebuffed by another roar. Once you consider these elements and make the required preparations, taming a Yutyrannus is not going to be too hard.
