Can’t open Axie Infinity due to a loading screen? Is the game stuck on queuing for you? Axie Infinity has recently seen a huge surge in player count worldwide. Although it is a popular video game, the developers say that it is still in the alpha stages. Hence, we don’t see the app on the official app stores of Android and iOS. The developers are constantly trying to scale up the servers to accommodate more players, and to do that they trigger server maintenance from time to time. And, this is why you may come across a loading or a queuing bug. Read this article to know how to fix it.
How to fix Axie Infinity’s Loading & Queuing Bug/Issue?
Wondering how to get past the loading screen on Axie Infinity? It turns out that the loading and queuing issue is happening because of server maintenance. In order to fix it, you will have to downgrade the game’s version. We have listed the steps to downgrade the version for both Windows and MacOS. Keep reading.

Windows
Make sure your Mavis Hub application and Axie Infinity are closed before you try the following steps.
1) Right-click on the Start Button, and select File Explorer.
2) Navigate to This PC > C: Drive > Users. Note your username.
3) Now, in the File Path box, paste this: C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Sky Mavis. Note that you should input your username in the place of Username in the path above.
4) You will see an Axie Infinity folder. Right-click on it and select Delete.
5) Now, launch Axie Infinity from Mavis Hub.
MacOS
Make sure your Mavis Hub application and Axie Infinity are closed before you try the following steps.
1) Click on the Finder button on your Mac.
2) Navigate to the Go tab, and then select the Go to folder… option. You can also press Command+Shift+G keys together.
3) Now, type ~/Library/ in the path text box and click on Go.
4) Look for the Application Support folder. Open it.
5) Now, look for the com.axieinfinity.origin folder and delete it.
6) Launch Axie Infinity from Mavis Hub.
Performing the above will downgrade the game’s version. However, the developers advise that this should be required only on “rare and announced occasions”. However, many users have been able to get rid of the loading and queuing on Axie Infinity using this technique. But, since it requires you to delete old but critical folders, we advise you to wait out the maintenance period for the loading/queuing issues to solve on their own.
